that the exact type of room you are looking for is not available. Or that rooms are blocked online for a package or event or period we have at that time.

FREJA'S RESIDENCE and ODENSBORG

What we call "hotel längan". Here we offer single rooms,
double rooms and quadruple rooms with comfortable beds and private sinks in the room. There is also our cozy lounge with TV, sofa areas and kitchen where you are welcome to sit and socialize on your own with what you ordered from us at the bar across the yard. One room in this row has its own shower and toilet. What do we call it? The bridal suite of course! :) It is often reserved, but we are happy to rent out if it is free.

SUNBED AND WIDE VIEWS

Two of our houses around the courtyard are perfect for a group to rent with a desire for a more exclusive and private feel. In one house there are 6 rooms (24 beds!) and its own kitchen, living room, 4 toilets, 2 showers and a drying room. In the other house there is nothing real kitchen but a cozy living room with fridge and coffee maker / microwave. Men's and women's showers and two toilets. / drying room.

BALDER

The last of the rows has a simpler standard with an older style. It is excellent for
camp school, confirmation camp or class trip. Contact us. We will be happy to arrange your
arrangements for a smaller budget with accommodation here. We otherwise use it mostly as an extra rooms during the Vasaloppet or other occasions when we need a large number of beds.

What happens here during the year?

Christmas holidays and New Year's dinner The hotel opens for the winter season and we are accepting bookings for accommodation during the break between the weekends and New Year's weekend with a traditional New Year's dinner in the restaurant. The mountains on the mountains in February. A fantastic fun weekend with a packed program for girls with gas in their purses. Organized together with Snowrider Magazine.

Vasaloppet's winter week - Some dates during the winter are booked a year in advance with us. If you don't find what you are looking for, you can email us. bokning@hotelletvidfjallet.se so we can see what the bookings are like for the dates you are looking for.

Pokerrun Sälen snowmobile event with us in March

A fun snowmobile event for all levels of snowmobile riders. The group of friends, the family or maybe a family feud. Team competition. not on time but on the best poker face of the day. 5-fight events during the day. Breakfast before departure with us. Lunch in the mountains and dinner with a Saturday party with us in the evening. Various packages are offered. Booked via Snowrider Magazine.

Veterans Snowmobile Day . Organized by Sälens Snowmobile Club at the end of March. A fun day that starts and ends here with us. BBQ buffet and a really fun evening with a live band here after a day of fun in the mountains.

Spring break in April - More info before each season break. Depending on snow and when Easter falls.

Annually, on the 34th of August, Hillbilly Day .

Welcome to Transtrand's Hillbilly Day at the Hotel by the Mountain in August.

We offer a fun day with music on an outdoor stage, food, drinks and some fun games on the farm. An event in the "local village feel" theme where we hope we can bring the village together in something that will become an annual tradition. We have VIP parking for your vehicle in the "Hillbilly" theme, bring your tractor, your riding lawnmower or garbage truck! Gather your friends and neighbors and come and make the day the most memorable of the summer. Clothing in the theme gets extra points of course.
